Meridio announces the release of Meridio 4.2.

Meridio Limited is pleased to announce the release of Meridio 4.2.

London, 1st June 2004

Meridio Limited is pleased to announce the latest version of the award winning Meridio Enterprise Document and Record Management software. To meet the growing worldwide demand for electronic document and records management solutions, Meridio has developed the industry leading EDRM software known as Meridio 4 exclusively for Microsoft platforms. Meridio 4 is designed for transparent integration with Microsoft Office System products, to meet industry standards for electronic management of documents and records and to require minimal training and infrastructure costs.

Designed to meet the latest national and international EDRM standards and already approved by The National Archives as conforming to the PRO2002 standard recommended by UK Government, the latest release Meridio v 4.2 is enhanced to meet the requirements of the US Government DoD 5015.2 standard. The latest release also enhances the tight integration with Microsoft Office System products and technologies increasing Meridio's position as the most successful EDRM solution for organizations with a Microsoft IT platform.

The vast increase in electronic information in many different formats and recent legislation requiring all organisations, independent of sector or country, to hold certain information in a guaranteed unalterable form for long periods means that almost all organisations are finding it necessary to implement electronic document and records management across the enterprise.

Alan Gilmore, Meridio CTO said "Meridio's commitment to being the leading EDRM solution for Microsoft users is underlined with this release. The demand for enterprise-wide EDRM solutions continues to grow rapidly, and the Meridio approach of easy adoption through close integration with familiar desk-top applications is proving very successful."
