ZANTAZĀ® Wins 2004 Codie Award

Digital Safeā„¢ Awarded Codie for Best Application Service Solution

PLEASANTON, CA (May 26, 2004) - ZANTAZ, Inc., the leader in e-communications management solutions for compliance, electronic discovery and storage management, today announced its Digital Safe service won the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 2004 Codie Award for Best Application Service Solution. With over 800 nominations from more than 600 companies, the Digital Safe was chosen by a majority vote based on its creativity and innovation in the software and information industry over the past year. Representatives from the software and information industry trade press, mainstream technology writers and experts in education technology selected this year's Codie Awards finalists. Winners were determined from a combination of first round judging and SIIA Member votes.

"This 19th Annual Codie Awards continues our tradition of celebrating the best products in the software and information industry," said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. "Being a winner among so many fine nominees is a solid achievement. SIIA congratulates ZANTAZ on winning a 2004 Codie Award in a category with first-rate competition."

"We are honored to be recognized by the SIIA and our industry peers for this prestigious award that further validates the innovation, quality and value that our solutions provide our customers," said Craig Olson, Vice President of Marketing for ZANTAZ. "Winning the Codie Award is a testament to the dedication of the entire ZANTAZ team in building proven solutions that solve critical problems that our customers face."

The Digital Safe service is a secure, scalable email archiving solution that is built on an archiving architecture using grid computing techniques and unique indexing and query algorithms. ZANTAZ' Digital Safe service enables firms to quickly retrieve specific electronic documents or emails based on complex search criteria, from among billions of archived documents and correspondence, regardless of the length of time stored.

Since the delivery of this unique service, ZANTAZ has introduced a number of complementary, customer-driven applications that further enhance its customers' ability to meet regulations, respond to discovery requests and manage the costs associated with compliance and litigation support.
