MEDIA ADVISORY: Verity Experts to Speak on Business Process Automation at Business Forms Management Association's 35th International Symposium

SUNNYVALE, Calif - 2004-05-18 - Mark Seamans, senior vice president of research and development, and Bill Galusha, senior product manager of Verity Inc. (NASDAQ: VRTY), a leading provider of enterprise software that enables organizations to maximize the return on their intellectual capital investment, will deliver three presentations on different aspects of business process automation at the Business Forms Management Association's (BFMA) 35th International Symposium on Forms and Information Systems at the Silver Legacy Resort, Reno, Nevada, on May 23 to 27, 2004.

Seamans will deliver a presentation titled "The Open Approach to Standards and Architecture," at 1:45 p.m. PDT, May 23. Galusha will offer a tutorial on Verity LiquidOffice, a Web-based business process automation solution, at 10:00 a.m. PDT, May 24. In addition, he will present "Maintaining Value Associated with Paper Processing with eForms," at 3:00 p.m., PDT. May 26.

Further, Seamans will participate in an eForm panel, moderated by Carl W. Brannon, vice president, Essociates Group, Inc., with representatives from Adobe, Microsoft, FileNet, PureEdge and Amgraf at 8:00 a.m. PDT, May 25, which will explore the capabilities of the various eForm products and services available on the market today.
