Inmeta and Meridio Announce Strategic Partnership

Inmeta and Meridio Announce Partnership to address the growing demand for Enterprise Management of Electronic Documents and Records in Nordic Region

Oslo and London, 12th May 2004

Inmeta Licensing, the leading Norwegian software licensing company, and Meridio, an innovative supplier of electronic document and records management (EDRM) software, are pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership to address the growing demand for Enterprise Management of Electronic Documents and Records in the Nordic Region.

To meet the growing demand worldwide for electronic document and records management, Meridio has developed industry leading EDRM software known as Meridio 4 exclusively for Microsoft platforms. Meridio 4 is designed for transparent integration with Microsoft Office System products, to meet industry standards for electronic management and to require minimal training and infrastructure costs. Inmeta Licensing will extend their existing successful relationship with Meridio to market the Meridio 4 software throughout the Nordic region.

The vast increase in electronic information in many different formats and recent legislation requiring all organisations to hold certain information in a guaranteed unalterable form for long periods means that almost all organisations are finding it necessary to implement electronic document and records management across the enterprise.

"We welcome the opportunity of using Inmeta''s experience of working with Microsoft large accounts and building on their reputation for simplifying the process of selecting and managing technology products on behalf of its customers," said Mark Godfrey, VP of Enterprise Strategies for Meridio. "We are committed to making it as easy as possible for organisations to meet their EDRM requirements and implement solutions quickly to address the management of their vital business records and meet industry compliance rules. Our solution has a proven record for the fastest adoption in the market, delivering fast return on investment."

Øistein Kvarme, General Manager Inmeta Norway, said "We are very pleased to be taking our partnership with Meridio to a new level. Our two businesses compliment each other and we are confident that the Meridio 4 solution is the best EDRM solution for organisations with a Microsoft infrastructure and that the Meridio / Microsoft Office combination addresses a very important business opportunity combining the best approach to collaboration and legislative compliance requirements."
