ZANTAZĀ®, INC. Appoints Steve Kennedy Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development

Kennedy Brings Proven Track Record of Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Industry-Leading Companies

PLEASANTON, CA (March 23, 2004) - ZANTAZ, Inc., the leader in e-communications management solutions for compliance, electronic discovery and storage management, today announced the appointment of Steve Kennedy to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in technology hardware, software and services, Kennedy brings a proven ability to successfully lead and direct high-performing, multi-functioning international sales and business development teams.

Kennedy will lead ZANTAZ' direct sales team as well as its indirect channel that includes more than 70 distributors and resellers worldwide, to further grow ZANTAZ' revenue and profitability. ZANTAZ will leverage Kennedy's experience in building strategic relationships with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers, his success defining and executing global go-to-market strategies, and his ability to build world-class teams that consistently exceed aggressive sales goals.

"Steve is a proven leader who has been a key sales executive and corporate officer at industry-leading companies. He has successfully directed international sales teams of more than 700 employees and held accountability for single-year sales goals exceeding $6 billion. He will play a key role defining and implementing ZANTAZ' integrated direct and channel sales strategy with the goal of growing revenues and profitability through the creation of long-term client relationships, strategic channel partnerships and superior sales execution," said Steve King, President and CEO of ZANTAZ. "Steve demonstrates high ethical standards, integrity, teamwork and a commitment to excellence that will be a huge asset to ZANTAZ as we continue to expand our business."

Kennedy most recently served as Group Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Wind River Systems, Inc. where he integrated sales and corporate marketing, formed a global go-to-market strategy that drove sales to $249 million in 2003, and re-positioned the company to offer specific platforms for OEMs in multiple vertical markets. During his tenure at Wind River, he also expanded the international sales force to more than 700 employees and consistently exceeded the forecasted goals of Wind River's strategic plan.

Prior to Wind River, Kennedy served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at SonicBlue Corporation, where he grew revenues from $350 million in 1999 to $535 million in 2000. Kennedy also served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Corporate Marketing at Quantum Corporation. Kennedy joined Quantum in 1990 with revenues of $200 million and helped the company grow to a $6 billion leader in the storage device and solutions markets.

Kennedy's appointment comes after ZANTAZ' recent acquisition of EDUCOM TS, and its $20 million private equity financing from General Atlantic Partners, LLC and existing investors.
