LiquidOffice Support for Offline Forms Extends Functionality of Cardiff's Sophisticated Workflow Solution

Offline Forms Option Enables Mobile Workforce to Capitalize on Benefits of LiquidOffice to Capture and Process HTML eForm Data From the Field

San Diego, CA - 2004-03-10 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of content input and process management solutions for the enterprise, today announced the LiquidOffice Offline Forms Option as a valuable extension to LiquidOffice 3.0. The LiquidOffice Offline Forms are an ideal solution for a mobile workforce because they enable users to maximize the functionality of LiquidOffice to capture and process HTML eForms when an Internet connection is unavailable. Adding the LiquidOffice Offline Forms Option allows businesses and government agencies to begin automating critical external processes such as home and city inspection reports, insurance claims, and policy applications from the field.

The LiquidOffice Offline Forms Option complements an organizations' ability to process paper and electronic forms and enhances the flow of information from a mobile workforce, in addition to streamlining internal processes across the organization. This is achieved through a variety of key benefits that include improved access to HTML forms while interacting with customers in the field, collecting key data and eliminating data errors, accelerating the flow of information from forms completed in the field to internal business processes, and providing customers and other end users extra flexibility in completing lengthy forms offline.

"Web-based, server-side applications like LiquidOffice provide centralized form and workflow management as well as connectivity to back-end systems and historically have only been useful when users are connected," said Scott McLaughlin, senior technical advisor with Optiform. "Now, mobile workers will have access to the forms that enable them to collect and validate content in a disconnected environment, automating the flow of information from the field to internal processes."

Additional features of the LiquidOffice Offline Forms Option include HTML support for all form and field level validations including built-in calculations and support for automation scripts in JavaScript.

LiquidOffice ensures visibility, consistency and security of data as eForm-based processes move through an organization. With open standards support for all types of forms, LiquidOffice enables organizations to experience immediate time-savings, lower costs and higher value interaction with customers, resulting in an increase in overall business performance.

"Cardiff's goal is to accelerate the ability of organizations to process, obtain and integrate information more efficiently, significantly enhancing business productivity," said Dennis Clerke, CEO and founder of Cardiff Software. "The Offline Forms Option will continue to drive us toward that goal and extend the value that LiquidOffice delivers to today's expanding and increasingly mobile workforce."
