Upgrade to Leading Embedded BPM Product Allows Authorized Constituents to Improve Routing Without Changing Overall Workflow Definitions; Designer Has Real-Time Visibility
New York, Javits Convention Center - 2004-03-08 - Dralasoft, Inc., a leading innovator of Java(TM) technology for e-business and enterprise application infrastructure, today announced a powerful new dynamic routing capability for its Dralasoft Workflow Business Process Management (BPM) solution. The announcement, made at the AIIM 2004 Conference and Expo in New York, heralds a significant improvement in process efficiency for enterprise workgroups.
Dralasoft Workflow is a comprehensive, enterprise-class solution that leverages the full value of Java and XML, enabling workgroups to design, deploy, and manage their manual and automated business processes within embedded and IT infrastructures. With the addition of dynamic routing, end-users are now empowered to change routing of documents, tasks, and other objects on-the-fly to reflect specific preferences or business knowledge.
"Until now, end-users have not had the capability to change subroutines or routing logic. They could only respond to tasks and processes they were given," said Richard Rogers, Vice President of Business Operations for Dralasoft, Inc. "Dynamic workflow routing brings a new level of refinement and efficiency to the workflow process while relieving designers and analysts of the need for micro-managing workflows through the organization."
Ad Hoc Improvement
Dralasoft Workflow's new technology supports ad hoc improvement of specific routing procedures. For example, if a workflow called for three corporate divisions to review a document in sequence when parallel routing would be more efficient, an authorized end-user could change the process so that documents can travel parallel paths, then be returned to the user for final approval.
Balancing this new routing flexibility is the ability of workflow designers to decide which end-users are authorized to change routes. Any alterations from the original plan are immediately and visibly updated via Dralasoft Workflow Manager, the solution's management and monitoring module. Designers not only can see the changes taking place, but also are assured that those changes will not affect the overall definition.
Free Upgrade
Dralasoft Workflow's new dynamic routing technology is available immediately as a free and automatic upgrade to all current and new licensees of the product, including enterprises, resellers, ISVs, and those subscribing to the recently-introduced Dralasoft Workflow 3.0.
