Rapid Adoption of LiquidOffice Continues During Fourth Quarter 2003

Healthcare and Educational Sectors Among the Many Industries Deriving Benefits From this Flexible Enterprise Solution

San Diego, CA - 2004-03-01 - - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of content input and process management solutions, today announced significant customer adoption of LiquidOffice 3.0, its' application for managing eForm-based workflow, in Q4 2003. While a broad spectrum of organizations across multiple industries have been improving workflow processes by implementing Cardiff's solution, the most substantial adoption of LiquidOffice has been in the healthcare and higher education markets. Both of these data intensive industries are realizing the value of moving legacy form-based processes to the online environment with greater efficiency with LiquidOffice.

LiquidOffice 3.0 became available in Q4, and delivered industry-leading capabilities for content and process management throughout the enterprise, including: an intuitive Web-based interface; open standards support for Microsoft InfoPath, PDF, HTML and XForms; and roles-based workflow intelligence to design, deploy and manage custom process management solutions. LiquidOffice will provide greater flexibility to automate mission-critical form-driven process for new customers such as the Columbus Childrens Research Institute, University of Southern Miss. and University of Colorado.

Most organizations have an average of 750 forms they must process, manage and store. LiquidOffice can ease the efforts associated with managing these forms and increase overall efficiency. Because the healthcare and education markets are facing a growing list of challenges including increased compliance issues, funding cutbacks and staff shortages, LiquidOffice is the right solution for these organizations to realize significant time and cost savings.

Healthcare organizations are working with Cardiff's partner, MedSeek , a provider of customized eHealth solutions to institutions, to deploy LiquidOffice to streamline their processes and effectively manage while battling these new challenges. These organizations include the Rush Foundation, the University Community Hospital and the Henry Ford Health System.

"Healthcare is a data, regulatory and process intensive industry, and LiquidOffice is going to be a critical asset to help the hospital streamline form processes so we can stay focused on our core goal to help patients," said Laura Davis of the Rush Foundation Hospital. "Having easy access to up-to-date patient information is vital to the success of our hospital. LiquidOffice will help minimize the time consuming tasks associated with data entry, and will enable us to automate processes associated with regulatory compliance."

LiquidOffice ensures visibility, consistency and security of data as eForm-based processes move through an organization. With open standard support for all types of forms, LiquidOffice enables organizations to experience immediate time-savings, lower costs and higher value interaction with customers, resulting in an increase in overall business performance.

"In today's business climate, hospitals, government agencies, manufacturers and essentially every other type of organization increasingly are faced with the need to manage their documentation and data more effectively," said Dennis Clerke, CEO of Cardiff Software. By deploying a LiquidOffice solution, these organizations can easily and cost-effectively manage complex form-based processes, and free employees to focus on other business-critical tasks.

Additional new customers that are deploying LiquidOffice include the University of Clawsthal and the Luxembourg Ministry Of Education in the educational space; as well as government and industrial organizations such as Coyne Textiles, the United States Department of Energy, London Borough of Croydon, British Petroleum, Northrop Grumman and the United States Army to name a few.
