Cardiff Solution Deployed by Rabobank Group to Automate eProvisioning

- Leading European financial group deploys Cardiff LiquidOffice to streamline the submission, processing and approval of administrative forms and documents -

Brentford, England - 2004-02-18 - Cardiff Software Ltd., a leading provider of content input and process management solutions for global enterprises, today announced that Rabobank Group, a global financial services organization, has deployed Cardiff LiquidOffice™ to automate the creation, submission and approval of administrative forms for its employees across various departments. The solution, implemented by Cardiff certified partner Simac Datacollect and Argentum, will ensure that new Rabobank employees are furnished with the correct tools to enable them to fulfill their roles from their first day of employment.

With offices in 34 countries and approximately 341 local banks, Rabobank Group provides financial services and products to retail and business markets. In its Dutch home market, Rabobank has more than nine million business and private customers and is the market leader in virtually every area of financial services. Rabobank is experiencing tremendous growth, and is increasing the number of its remote locations. LiquidOffice, a leading solution for automated workflow and management of eForms provides a Web based interface and open architecture, to easily support the geographically dispersed workforce.. With the ability to publish interactive forms online easily, employees will also have around-the-clock access to the solution, even from remote locations.

"After an initial pilot project we concluded that LiquidOffice was the best solution for our needs," said M.J. Stomphorst, Department PME at Rabobank. "The pilot demonstrated the solution would significantly reduce costs, improve productivity and reduce employee frustration. We expect to extend the use of LiquidOffice to other form-driven processes in the future."

LiquidOffice will initially be used to manage employee assets. Each time an employee is hired or transferred between departments, a number of items such as furniture, computer and network login access to corporate applications must be requisitioned. With LiquidOffice, users fill in a single form that is then routed to the administrative departments that set up the relevant services. This process automation greatly improves efficiency and allows numerous process to commence simultaneously. This same process automation is reversed for employee's leaving or transferring within the organisation.

"LiquidOffice offers financial organsiations open standard functionality, complete scalability and quantifiable ROI," said Peter Bouwmans, director at Simac Datacollect. "By utilising its advanced workflow capabilities organisations like Rabobank can reduce administration and ensure that the inevitable operational difficulties that arise with incoming and outgoing staff are eliminated."
