Cardiff Announces Purchase by SAIC of LiquidOffice™ to Automate Internal Forms

Research and engineering company to add workflow, routing and digital signature capabilities to form-driven processes using LiquidOffice running on BEA Weblogic

San Diego, CA - 2004-01-28 - Cardiff Software Inc., a provider of content input and process management solutions for leading enterprises, today announced that Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has purchased Cardiff LiquidOffice™ to automate the creation, submission and approval of internal-facing forms. SAIC's Corporate Web Development department will implement Cardiff's leading eForm management solution on the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform®.

Cardiff LiquidOffice's Web-based interface and open architecture will allow SAIC to integrate Cardiff's eForm technology into its existing intranet environment. The incorporation of LiquidOffice into SAIC's corporate intranet will enable employees who access forms online to easily submit, track and approve forms using a familiar interface, which reduces training requirements and facilitates user-adoption. The ability to quickly capture, process and respond to business-critical information can enable SAIC to better serve its employees and customers.

"By automating its internal form-driven processes, SAIC can improve the level of service it offers to its employees, while simultaneously reducing processing costs enterprise wide," said Mark Seamans, Cardiff's chief technology officer. "In addition to enabling large organizations like SAIC to reduce processing costs, LiquidOffice's ability to easily connect with back-end databases and other back-office applications can help protect existing and future technology investments."

The scalability and performance of LiquidOffice provides organizations with a solid foundation for automating all their business-critical processes. Cardiff's open systems approach also allows them to take advantage of new technologies while continuing to use their existing systems, rather than locking them into a single source. Benefits experienced by organizations migrating to Cardiff LiquidOffice include streamlining internal operational processes; accelerating delivery of data and documents to backend systems; reducing administrative costs; and eliminating data errors with business rules processing.
