Global Remittance Network Selects Cardiff Solution

Cardiff LiquidOffice™ facilitates employee self-service and automates critical financial services operations

San Diego, CA - 2003-12-15 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of data capture and eForm solutions for the enterprise, today announced that its LiquidOffice™ eForm automation solution has been selected by Global Remittance Network to enhance its suite of products. As an organization that provides hosted electronic payment and expense management applications for businesses, government and institutions, integrating LiquidOffice will enable Global Remittance customers to automate their payment and expense management processes.

Cardiff's LiquidOffice eForm solution converts internal paper or static online forms into interactive eForms that can be automatically routed, tracked and approved across the enterprise. Global Remittance will utilize these features of LiquidOffice as the key functionality in its expense and payment management applications. These solutions use available electronic payment mechanisms, especially stored-value cards (pre-paid) to automate financial transactions, specifically travel and entertainment, petty cash and small value purchases to eliminate the cumbersome and expensive process of administering manual or cash-based transactions.

"We selected the Cardiff solution because it seamlessly mirrors paper processes and workflow in the online environment," said John C. Sabourin, Director of Product Development at Global Remittance Network. "Cardiff's easy-to-use interface and strong support for paper to digital processes, ensures a quick ramp up of our customers' workers and an easy transition to online business process automation."

As the platform for the Global Remit solution, organizations will now have the ability to reduce exorbitant operating costs, increase financial controls and cash management capabilities, improve purchase compliance controls and simultaneously enable front line responsibility and accountability. These changes enhance productivity while still addressing the needs and requirements of buyers, sellers and process operators to provide for enhanced service delivery quality, and quick adoption.

"Global Remittance Network has successfully expanded on Cardiff's flexible solution, providing the ability to meet the diverse needs of financial services functions, enhancing the processing of internal forms and documents," said Mark Seamans, chief technology officer at Cardiff. "This unique solution successfully improves and expands communications between organizations and their employees."

Cardiff's open standards approach enables its solutions to be easily integrated into existing systems and employee-focused tools, thereby protecting a company's current and future IT investments. This next-generation methodology embraces back-end systems, corporate portals, the Internet and wireless devices to empower end users to create and deploy living documents with bi-directional interface to the enterprise. Global Remittance avoids costly development and customization by using LiquidOffice because the solution integrates directly with its Financial Suite to facilitate critical business processes and automate exchange of critical business information.
