Cardiff Announces General Availability of LiquidOffice™ 3.0

Supports PDF, HTML, InfoPath and Enables Role-Based Routing, and Structured Workflow of eForms

San Diego, CA - 2003-12-08 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of document capture and eForm solutions for the enterprise, today announced the general availability of LiquidOffice version 3.0, which empowers the enterprise by streamlining the routing, tracking, and approval of electronic forms, reducing time spent completing tasks and delivering real value to organizations.

Cardiff LiquidOffice 3.0 leverages ad hoc and structured workflow processing and advanced process monitoring to manage the routing of electronic forms across any organization in multiple vertical industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing and the public sector. The solution is a part of Cardiff's integrated process automation suite that includes LiquidCapture™ and TELEform®. Additional functionality within LiquidOffice includes:

• An agnostic approach to format that supports PDF, HTML and now Microsoft InfoPath 2003

• Advanced Process Manager that allows organizations to automate mission critical form-driven processes that require a structured workflow environment due to unique business requirements and regulatory compliance needs

• Roles-based routing that allows tasks to be assigned based upon a job function or relationship, rather than to specific groups or individuals, ensuring information is delivered to the right user

• Centralized monitoring and reporting which enables business users to proactively respond to forms that have become stalled within a process

• A Form Design Expression Builder that includes interfaces that can enable non-technical users to build simple and complex rules and validations into a form

• Customizable user interfaces that work as an embedded application within a portal environment such as Plumtree and Vignette

• Enhanced form repository navigation, making it easier for users to determine the appropriate form to use.

"With our open standards approach, Cardiff is the only form-agnostic vendor in the industry, enabling us to support any enterprise form process," said Bill Galusha, senior product marketing manager at Cardiff. "With broad compatibility, including support for the new Microsoft InfoPath, and our ability to provide advanced process management to streamline very complex workflows, LiquidOffice 3.0 represents the most complete eForm-based business process automation solution."
