Cardiff Announces Significant Customer Adoption of LiquidOffice in the Third Quarter

Need to Facilitate Data Convergence from Legacy Applications For More Efficient Operations Fuels Adoption

San Diego, CA - 2003-11-19 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of document capture and eForm solutions for the enterprise, today announced a significant increase in Q3 for the adoption of its LiquidOffice application for managing eForm-based workflow. Organizations see real value in moving legacy form-based processes to the online environment and are making it a top purchasing priority as IT dollars become available, feeding the increase in LiquidOffice demand.

With between 400 and 900 form-based business processes existing in the average organization (less than $1B revenue), document workflow and management is often a cumbersome task that can negatively impact revenue and employee efficiency if not mastered through business process automation. Because documents are often housed in legacy systems, the process of interacting with and impacting forms is difficult and time consuming. Organizations that embrace online workflow technologies such as LiquidOffice see significant productivity and revenue gains resulting from process automation.

New Cardiff customers span multiple vertical industries, and as a result LiquidOffice is streamlining many different processes with human-assisted workflow. These processes include insurance claim processing, government agency forms in accordance with the Government Paper Elimination Act and mortgage and credit forms, to name a few. Organizations that recently purchased LiquidOffice include NAVAIR China Lake, the United States Senate, Alamo Community College, Fidelity Investments, DaimlerChrysler, Washington Trust, Appalachian Regional Commission, Sycuan Casino and the California Agricultural Technology Institute (CATI).

"Cardiff LiquidOffice was an ideal choice for CATI" says Joe Bezerra, executive director of the CATI. "While we considered other programs, the flexibility and ease-of-integration of the Cardiff solution was more appropriate for our needs. Using LiquidOffice will allow us to automate our current paper-based grant proposal submission process and save valuable time for more critical functions at a very affordable price."

LiquidOffice ensures visibility, consistency and security of data as eForm-based processes move through an organization. With open standard support for all types of forms, including PDF, HTML and InfoPath, LiquidOffice enables organizations to experience immediate time-savings, lower costs and higher value interaction with customers, resulting in an increase in overall business performance.

"Many organizations are turning to Cardiff and our LiquidOffice application to increase data sharing and conversion of eForms via open standards," said Dennis Clerke, CEO of Cardiff Software. "These organizations can cost-effectively move legacy documents online, enabling faster completion of form-based business processes, and ensuring greater document archiving and storage."
