Cardiff Announces Integration of Documentum 5 and LiquidOffice™

Availability of LiquidOffice Connect Agent for Documentum Combines eForm and Enterprise Content Management Technology to Improve Operating Efficiencies

San Diego, CA - 2003-11-11 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of document capture and eForm solutions for the enterprise, today announced the availability of a LiquidOffice™ Connect Agent for the Documentum ECM platform from Documentum (NASDAQ: DCTM), the leading provider of enterprise content management (ECM). This Connect Agent is a seamless integration package that enables companies to automatically route eForms managed, created and processed in LiquidOffice to the Documentum repository.

The new Cardiff solution, developed in response to joint customer demand, brings together eForm management, enterprise content management, and workflow into a single, enterprise-class solution, allowing organizations to manage enterprise-wide business processes driven by forms and documents. Now, organizations can streamline the capture and management of vital information, including Web sites, eForms and other enterprise documents, moving the forms through a common workflow process to completion and archiving or posting of the document.

Cardiff's LiquidOffice solution provides role-based routing, structured workflow and advanced process monitoring and reporting for automating eForm driven business processes.

"Documentum is pleased to partner with Cardiff to deliver advanced eForm automation capabilities to our joint customers," said John Magee, vice president of corporate product marketing for Documentum. "The integration of LiquidOffice with Documentum enables customers to automate previously paper-based workflows and to leverage the scalable and secure Documentum 5 ECM platform for managing and archiving business-critical content and processes."

The LiquidOffice Connect Agent for Documentum enables users to complete and submit forms, regardless of standards or platform, through a Web-based universal interface. LiquidOffice captures data from LiquidOffice, HTML, PDF, and InfoPath forms, automatically indexing and archiving the completed form as PDF in Documentum, a robust enterprise content management solution that supports collaboration and business process automation. Through this integrated solution, organizations can dramatically reduce the amount of paper used for daily transactions, streamline processes, eliminate printing and storage costs, and replace manual data entry with online form submission.

"Documentum is a front-runner in enterprise content management, their collaboration technology and natural support for business process automation functionality make them a natural partner for our organization," said Dan Shirra, vice president of worldwide marketing for Cardiff Software. "We expect the Connect Agent to significantly and positively impact the way organizations share and manage forms and documents in the enterprise."

Cardiff will be exhibiting in booth #432 at Momentum, the Documentum User Conference, November 9-12 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
