Cardiff Solution Triples Order Processing Efficiency for Bruno Independent Living Aids
Cardiff eForm solution reduces sales order processing time from 8 hours to under 2.5; Document capture solution automates warranty card processing, improves service capabilities
San Diego, CA - 2003-07-28 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process automation solutions, today announced that Bruno Independent Living Aids, a leading manufacturer of mobility products for the disabled, has tripled its sales order processing efficiency using Cardiff's eForm automation solution. Bruno is also using Cardiff's information capture technology to scan, verify and input warranty card information directly into its Hyland OnBase content management system. The solutions were implemented in partnership with certified Cardiff resellers MTM Inc. and Scan America, both of Wisconsin.
Bruno implemented Cardiff solutions to automate its sales order and warranty card processing. Realizing a rapid deployment time, Bruno is using Cardiff LiquidOffice™ to develop intelligent electronic forms, which have already increased operating efficiency from product order to delivery threefold by reducing processing time from eight hours to under two-and-a-half. A Web-based solution, LiquidOffice enables Bruno's employees to use a standard Internet browser to track more than 300 work orders received daily at every stage of the sign-off and procurement process. The ability to automatically route, track and approve electronic forms across Bruno's three locations eliminates the costs associated with manual, paper-based procedures.
Bruno is also using Cardiff's TELEform® information capture solution to automatically process the 50 to 60 warranty cards it receives daily. Cardiff's open systems architecture and robust software developer kit (SDK) enabled Bruno to easily create a seamless integration with its OnBase content management system and Oncontact customer relationship management solution. This valuable integration enables TELEform to automatically verify the customer warranty information captured from each card. TELEform's superior character recognition and data validation capabilities also helped Bruno improve its service levels by significantly reducing the risk of data error and speeding up the information capture process.
Bruno has realized further cost savings by allowing its outside sales force to access LiquidOffice remotely via an Internet browser, which provides them with immediate access to sales data from the field. Bruno realized these savings quickly, as LiquidOffice's intuitive interface and pervasive use of open standards enabled it to get all existing forms converted and running in a full production environment in only five weeks. Bruno also plans to provide access to LiquidOffice to its top dealers, enabling them to view data in real time to determine order status, thereby reducing the number of customer service calls received.
