Cardiff Strengthens Pacific Rim Presence; Adds New VAR Partners, New Channel Development Manager
Appointment of Australia/New Zealand channel development manager and two new value added resellers expand Cardiff's reach in the Pacific Rim
San Diego, CA - 2003-07-14 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process automation solutions, today announced an expanded presence in the Pacific Rim through the appointment of Darren Sutherland as channel development manager for Australia and New Zealand and the addition of two new certified value added resellers. Sutherland's appointment, along with the addition of Pacific Rim-based channel partners InfoConnect Sdn. Bhd. and Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific PTE Ltd., position Cardiff for strong growth in the region.
A 12-year industry veteran with extensive enterprise sales experience, Sutherland is committed to supporting Cardiff's existing partners and expanding market share in the Australia/New Zealand region. Sutherland's focus on Australia and New Zealand complements the sales momentum already achieved by Cardiff's international sales manager, Blair Fraser. Fraser's efforts have helped secure several landmark wins in the Pacific Rim, including Great Eastern Life Insurance in Malaysia and the Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong.
Sutherland has more than a decade of international sales experience in enterprise content management and business performance management. As Cardiff's channel development manager for Australia/New Zealand, Sutherland will leverage his extensive experience in developing and managing channel sales programs for leading, high-growth technology companies.

Most recently, Sutherland served as territory sales manager, northern region, for Hyperion Solutions Corporation, a global leader in enterprise software and services for Business Performance Management. During his tenure there, he was responsible for developing the channel and direct sales programs for the Pacific Rim region. Prior to Hyperion, Sutherland established the ActionPoint office in Australia and managed the Asia Pacific territory. He also developed successful programs for Headway and FileNet in the United Kingdom.
Cardiff's momentum in the Pacific Rim is demonstrated by the recent signing of two VAR partners specializing in sales throughout the region: InfoConnect and Fuji Xerox. Based in Selangor, Malaysia, InfoConnect Sdn. Bhd. was formed in 1994 and specializes in integrated information management solutions for enterprise-level information capture, archival, sharing and collaboration.
