Cardiff LiquidOffice™ Selected by the U.S. Department of Justice Consolidated Operating Network (JCON)

More than 36,000 U.S. Department of Justice employees to use Cardiff's eForm technology; Agreement represents the most significant government LiquidOffice implementation to date

San Diego, CA - 2003-04-09 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Justice Consolidated Operating Network (JCON) has selected the Cardiff LiquidOffice™ eForm solution to meet its electronic forms requirements.

JCON will roll out LiquidOffice to 36,000 users within 12 JCON components in 200 different locations across the country. LiquidOffice will provide each JCON component with the ability to easily publish interactive forms online to a central location, which employees can then access around-the-clock using a standard Web browser.

LiquidOffice will replace an aging legacy, client-server based solution. As part of the implementation process, JCON will convert its library of forms into intelligent, XML-based eForms. Currently, JCON manages hundreds of component-specific forms, as well as other standard DOJ and government forms. With LiquidOffice, each JCON component will be able to store all of these forms in a central repository, where they can be centrally managed, updated or removed.

"As a Web-based solution, LiquidOffice provides JCON with the flexibility and scalability to service its thousands of employees across hundreds of different locations," said Mark Seamans, chief technology officer with Cardiff. "In addition to streamlining resource-intensive processes, LiquidOffice also helps JCON comply with e-Government initiatives calling for the use of technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness."
