Virage Teams With EDS And EMC At NAB 2003 Conference
Virage To Showcase New Products At Booth #SL1854
SAN MATEO, Calif. - April 3, 2003 - Virage, Inc. [NASDAQ: VRGE] today announced that it will demonstrate its latest technology offerings at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2003 Conference in Las Vegas, April 7-10, Virage booth #SL1854. At the show, Virage will announce two major new product releases and will demonstrate these products publicly for the first time. In addition, EDS and EMC Corporation will be in the Virage booth demonstrating their latest technologies.
EDS will demonstrate its new Digital Asset Management (DAM) architecture in the Virage booth. This new end-to-end asset management solution from EDS can be implemented in increments, allowing customers to accelerate their return-on-investment. EDS has chosen Virage's technology for its new DAM architecture. EDS, the leading global services company, provides strategy, implementation, business transformation and operational solutions for clients managing the business and technology complexities of the digital economy.
In addition, EMC will be in the Virage booth demonstrating interoperability of its newest Centera storage product line and Virage's video and rich media applications. The demonstration will highlight how enterprises can easily and efficiently manage, store and distribute their content to maximize the value of their media assets. EMC is the leader in information storage systems, software, networks, and services.
On Monday, April 7 at NAB, Virage, EDS and EMC will host a cocktail event to launch two new Virage products and to discuss its new relationships.
