Cardiff TELEform® Selected by the Irish Revenue Commissioners

Brentford, England - 2003-03-17 - Cardiff Software Ltd., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that the Irish Revenue Commissioners have selected Cardiff TELEform® to automate the collection of data from more than 460,000 P35 forms annually.

Cardiff reseller Inpute Technologies implemented the TELEform information capture solution, which automatically captures and verifies data from scanned forms. Following an open competition, the Irish Revenue Commissioners selected the Cardiff TELEform-based solution proposed by Dublin-based Inpute Technologies.

By automatically interpreting handwriting, machine print, barcodes, circle responses and tick boxes, TELEform virtually eliminates the errors that commonly occur with manual data entry. In addition, TELEform further increases data accuracy by checking the calculations in order to verify that the correct data has been input on the P35 declaration form.

"Inpute is very pleased to have been awarded this contract by the Irish Revenue Commissioners, who join Inpute's growing list of automated forms processing clients, which include SDS and the CSO," said Chris Howard, managing director at Inpute Technologies. "By implementing Cardiff TELEform, customers are significantly increasing their productivity and reducing costs, which is a priority for all organisations in today's difficult economic climate."

In response to demand for more information on this type of business process automation solution, Cardiff is hosting a free online seminar on the 2nd April. Focusing specifically on the use of such technology in government, delegates will learn how organisations such as the Irish Revenue Commissioners have reduced costs and improved productivity.
