Cardiff Software Appoints Mike Flanagan as Director of America's Channel Sales
San Diego, CA - 2003-02-04 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Flanagan as director of America's Channel Sales. Flanagan will be responsible for developing and expanding revenues for Cardiff's OneSource channel partner program in Canada, the United States and Latin America. The OneSource program provides value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators with the necessary tools to successfully resell, implement and support Cardiff's products across the globe.
Flanagan brings more than 12 years of sales experience to Cardiff, with a proven track record in enterprise software sales for companies specializing in enterprise content management and application integration solutions. He also brings extensive experience managing worldwide channel sales programs for leading, high-growth technology companies. Most recently, Flanagan served as senior manager of Global Consulting Partners for Vignette Corporation, a global, multi-million dollar leader in content management software and services. During his tenure there, he was responsible for leading several global, cross-functional teams to increase Vignette's market share and received the Vignette Leadership Award for his efforts.
"Mike's executive-level alliance management experience with top-tier systems integrators will be particularly effective in driving enterprise sales of the Cardiff LiquidOffice eForm automation solution," said Dennis Clerke, Cardiff's president and CEO. "Mike has a proven track record of achieving explosive sales growth for technology companies and also has experience managing multi-million dollar engagements on a global basis, which makes him perfectly suited to lead Cardiff's OneSource channel partner program in the Americas."
Prior to Vignette, Flanagan served as director of e-commerce sales and marketing for Symantec, where he led the Internet Sales and Marketing team. While serving in that capacity, Flanagan increased revenues by 1400% in three years and was a recipient of Symantec's Management Excellence award. Previous to this position, he served as director of VAR Sales at Symantec, where he led Symantec's award-winning Enterprise Alliance Program.
"With his extensive experience managing worldwide channel sales programs, Mike will help strengthen Cardiff's global commitment to its full-service channel partner program," added Emmanuel de Boucaud, Cardiff's vice president of worldwide channel sales. "Mike's ability to guide channel partners to success within each of their respective business models will be instrumental in helping Cardiff increase channel sales revenue and expand market share."
