Cardiff's LiquidOffice™ Wins Transform Magazine's 2002 "Value Leader" Award for Specialized Technologies

LiquidOffice awarded for its ability to efficiently and effectively automate the creation, routing, tracking and approvals of electronic forms

San Diego, CA - 2002-12-30 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that CMP Media's Transform Magazine has honored LiquidOffice with the 2002 "Value Leader" award. A panel of 27 analysts and consultants reviewed hundreds of products and technologies and chose 32 winners across the "Product of the Year," "Value Leader" and "Product of the Year Finalists" categories, all of which are honored in the magazine's January issue.

LiquidOffice is an XML-based system that enables organizations to publish, route, track, approve, sign, and process online forms and documents. Organizations standardizing their form-driven processes with LiquidOffice are able to fully leverage their existing Web infrastructure using XML, HTML and PDF standards to migrate a wide range of manual business processes to automated online processes.

"We are especially honored to have Cardiff LiquidOffice chosen as a Transform Magazine Value Leader of the Year because of the rigorous selection criteria, and the panel's hands-on evaluation methods," said Dennis Clerke, CEO of Cardiff. "We have worked hard to deliver a solution with a clear promise of a quick return on investment, and LiquidOffice is the fruit of that labor. LiquidOffice is a critical element of Cardiff's integrated platform for total process automation, which support all phases of form and document transactions - from capture to management and response."

Transform Magazine's "Product of the Year" awards recognize products that help organizations reinvent the way they do business by offering innovative breakthrough technologies, great value or both to the end user. The theme of this year's award includes return on investment, record keeping and the firming up of government regulations. Finalists were selected based on how much functionality and value their products provided while still keeping to affordable price points.

According to the editors of Transform, "With its latest release, Cardiff made a major upgrade to its useful e-form tool. Release 2.1 gained J2EE and Macintosh support as well as SOAP compatibility. The software also includes a screen reader that complies with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Ad hoc e-mail routing has been added, as has a shared inbox to which forms can be routed for approval. A Data Collection Edition lets you easily share data with other applications."

Full details on the selections are available online at www.transformmag.com and are included in the "Product of the Year" section published in the January issue of the magazine, mailing this week.
