GSI Commerce Selects Verity K2 Catalog for its E-Commerce Platform
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - 2002-12-17 - Verity Inc., (NASDAQ: VRTY), a leading provider of infrastructure software that powers corporate intranets and e-commerce sites as well as e-business applications, today announced that its advanced search software, Verity K2 Catalog, has been selected for use by GSI Commerce, a leading outsource solution for e-commerce, on its Web technology platform.
GSI Commerce develops and operates e-commerce businesses for retailers, branded manufacturers, media companies, television networks and professional sports organizations. The GSI Commerce platform includes Web site design and development, e-commerce technology, customer service, fulfillment, merchandising, content development and management, and online and database marketing. GSI Commerce, Inc. was formerly known as Global Sports, Inc.
