Cardiff LiquidOffice™ Selected by English Schools Foundation to Automate Forms and Business Processes

Hong Kong foundation uses LiquidOffice to streamline the submission and processing of teacher recruitment forms

San Diego, CA - 2002-12-11 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that its LiquidOffice™ eForm automation solution has been selected by the English Schools Foundation (ESF), the largest international educational foundation in Asia, to automate form-driven processes at its 18 school center sites located throughout Hong Kong. ESF will use LiquidOffice to automate the way new teacher applications are submitted and routed for approval.

LiquidOffice provides ESF with a Web-based solution for collecting pertinent information about teachers throughout the recruiting process. In addition to presenting new teacher candidates with an online interface for submitting application forms, LiquidOffice will enable ESF to achieve significant reductions in time and expense through its ability to transfer information directly into a human resources database and by automating the routing of selected forms for approval. The Cardiff solution was recommended by Cambridge Computer Services Inc., a specialty integrator of data and document collection, workflow, management, storage and backup technologies.

"Cardiff offered the only open-standards solution that faithfully mirrors our paper process, both visually and mentally," said John Tustin, director of human resources, English Schools Foundation. "We selected LiquidOffice because it's flexible, does not involve hardware or software investments for the end user, and requires little training of faculty and staff."

The scalability and high-performance of LiquidOffice provides organizations with a solid foundation for automating business-critical processes. Cardiff's open systems approach also allows them to take advantage of new technologies while continuing to use their existing systems, rather than locking them into a single source.

"Educational organizations are recognizing that implementing a LiquidOffice eForm automation system is an important step toward streamlining their processes," said Dan Shirra, Cardiff's vice president of worldwide marketing. "Easy integration and data flow between LiquidOffice and line-of-business applications allow companies to maximize their existing systems."
