The EagleForce Associates and Autonomy announce Technology Partnership

Fairfax, Virginia, November 19, 2002 - EagleForce Associates, today announced a new technology partnership with Autonomy Corporation plc (Nasdaq: AUTN; LSE: AU.; Nasdaq Europe: AUTN), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise. Under the terms of the agreement, EagleForce Associates will become an Autonomy Technology Partner whose specific focus is the systems integration and advancement of Autonomy's technology into the Intelligence, Defense, and Security markets.

Autonomy's technology will provide advanced functionality to EagleForce Associates' Black Dragon Knowledge Discovery Architecture, empowering customers with an ability to aggregate multiple analytical processing, link analysis, and predictive modeling tools to index, classify, categorize, and retrieve content, of structured, un-structured, and semi-structured data. EagleForce Associates will be able to deploy a team of Autonomy-trained technical specialists, with subject matter expertise in Defense, Security, and Intelligence systems, allowing clients to make the most of the technology's rapid deployment within context capability.

"This relationship with Autonomy will add to our Next Generation Knowledge Discovery Toolkits (NexGen KDT) currently being deployed in various Defense, Intelligence, and Security communities." said Dr. A. J. Maren, Chief Scientist of EagleForce Associates. "Autonomy's categorization, combined with EagleForce's ability to normalize voice, video, and data into a common format will provide our clients with an enhanced enterprise level content management solution and create the paradigm of 'Progressive Actionable Intelligence'".

Richard Gaunt, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Autonomy today commented, "Autonomy's infrastructure technology for automated information collection, analysis, routing and retrieval has been implemented within more than 30 Federal agencies including the Departments of Energy, Defense, Education, Commerce, Labor and the IC community. It is quite timely to bring EagleForce Associates, a company concentrated on the public sector, into our alliance program. This addition will extend Autonomy's reach within the U.S. federal, state and enterprise markets. Autonomy is delighted to announce EagleForce as an exciting new technology partner in the area of content management."

Autonomy's unique Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) will allow EagleForce the opportunity to integrate unstructured, semi-structured and structured information from multiple repositories through an understanding of the content. At the heart of Autonomy's software is its ability to analyze text and voice (in any language) and identify and rank the main concepts within it. This capability will allow EagleForce the opportunity to automatically categorize, link, personalize and deliver that information in user defined format and structure. Eagleforce will use Autonomy's infrastructure technology to automate operations within enterprise information portals, customer relationship management, knowledge management, business intelligence and e-business applications, among others.
