Leading Norwegian Transportation Company Selects Cardiff TELEform® With Remote Capture Option to Process Forms From 36 Separate Offices

Brentford, England - 2002-11-04 - Cardiff Software Ltd., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that Linjegods, the leading Norwegian transportation company, has selected Cardiff TELEform® with Remote Capture Option to automatically capture data from 1.2 million consignment notes each year from 36 offices across Norway. The tracking and logistical information will then be made immediately available to its customers via a Web portal. The solution was sold through Canon Systems, a leading Cardiff Software reseller in Norway.

Thor Bergby, managing director at Linjegods comments: "Success with this solution is very important to us, as our customers are increasingly demanding this type of Internet-based service."

Linjegods will install one TELEform Remote Capture Station in each of its 36 offices where it will be used to scan forms and documents and electronically transmit the data to a centralised TELEform Enterprise server for further processing. TELEform will then quickly capture, verify and process the consignment notes thereby enabling Linjegods to instantly provide crucial delivery information through their "Track & Trace" Web portal.

"This order is the single largest Cardiff TELEform deal we have closed in this market, and it adds to Cardiff's already impressive list of Norwegian customers. It is very rewarding for us to deliver a solution that is so crucial to maintaining Linjegods customer service," comments Bengt Kjellsaa, sales manager at Canon Systems.

The Remote Capture Option gives organisations the power and flexibility to capture and process forms and documents as labor markets and volume requirements change. Multi-site and global enterprises can eliminate centralised processing costs and mail delivery times by leveraging Remote Capture Stations to streamline batch-scanning operations at regional sites.
