Cardiff TELEform Selected by Leading Dutch Medical Laboratory to Automate Collection and Processing of Medical Forms
Stiching Huisartsen Labratorium (SHL) to use TELEform to reduce data capture costs by 50 percent and improve medical form processing time by more than 70 percent
Brentford, England - 2002-10-02 - Cardiff Software Ltd., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that Stiching Huisartsen Labratorium (SHL), one of the Netherlands' largest medical laboratories, has selected the Cardiff TELEform™ information capture solution to automate the way it collects information from more than 170 medical practices. Using TELEform, SHL expects to reduce data capture costs by 50 percent and reduce medical form processing time by more than 70 percent. This customer win reinforces Cardiff's position as the leading provider of process-automation solutions for medical forms in Europe. TELEform is being implemented by Allgeier Computer, a certified Cardiff reseller, and Simac Datacollect, a regional distributor.
TELEform automatically captures information from paper and digital documents, resulting in significant cost savings from reduced process time and paper consumption. SHL chose the TELEform solution for its ability to quickly and accurately process more than 1,000 medical forms completed daily by nurses and doctors. These forms are received by SHL from more than 170 medical practices and include critical patient information such as blood sample processing. By processing medical forms faster and reducing errors, TELEform enables SHL to lower costs and improve patient care.
