Cardiff TELEform® in Strong Demand by Top European Hospitals

Cardiff's premier information capture solution gains momentum in European healthcare market as hospitals turn to TELEform to automate data collection and verification

Brentford, England - 2002-09-30 - Cardiff Software Ltd., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced a strong demand for its TELEform® information capture solution by top European hospitals. A growing number of European hospitals are turning to TELEform to automate the way they collect, process and verify medical data. Using TELEform, hospitals can eliminate manual data entry costs, reduce errors and improve service through the ability to automatically capture data from paper forms including hematology forms, treatment codes and other critical medical data.

With more than ten years of industry experience and hundreds of TELEform implementations in hospitals across Europe, Cardiff has established itself as a leading provider of information capture solutions for the European healthcare market. Recent European hospital wins include Karolinska, Danderyd, V?stervik, Huddinge, Kalmar and Lund Universitets hospitals in Sweden, Buskerud Sykehus in Norway, Hospital Val de Grace in France and Hospital Universitaire de Geneve in Switzerland.

Kenneth Pantzar, managing director of Alcom, a leading systems integrator in Sweden, explains: "Cardiff TELEform is proving popular with Swedish hospitals because manual registration of medical data is expensive, time consuming and prone to errors. TELEform completely automates the process through its ability to capture data from all types of medical documents and paper forms, including handwriting, machine print, OMR and barcodes. It also works very well with existing systems a hospital might have installed, including database applications such as Oracle, ODBC, SQL and laboratory systems such Flexlab, Declab and Melca."

About Cardiff TELEform

TELEform is available in two versions: TELEform Elite, a single workstation system for mid-level forms processing applications, and TELEform Enterprise, a production-level, scalable, remote data and document capture and processing system. Both versions of TELEform can be extended with the addition of the TELEform eForm Option for eForm capability and TELEform AutoMerge Publisher to provide automated document assembly and response. More information can be found at www.cardiff.com/teleform.
