Data Junction Enhances Cardiff's Business Process Automation Solution for Enterprise Clients
With Data Junction as the key integration component, Cardiff TELEform and Cardiff LiquidOffice deliver real business value
San Diego - 2002-08-05 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Data Junction Corporation, developers of the world's most widely deployed integration solutions. The partnership allows Cardiff to add robust integration functionality to its BPA solution, encompassing both electronic and paper-based forms and documents, for its customers.
Data Junction solutions perform integration tasks for two of Cardiff's products, TELEform and LiquidOffice. By sharing existing data, Data Junction unifies a large number of backend customer systems with TELEform. Additionally, Data Junction components serve as a bridge to read workflow rules as well as performing bi-directional transformations between LiquidOffice and customer ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, including SAP and PeopleSoft.
TELEform replaces manual data entry in high-volume enterprise and government organizations by accurately collecting, validating, processing and storing paper-based data in digital formats. Data Junction's adaptors provide the connectivity to transform customer-supplied data from a variety of different systems in a variety of formats to backend systems through TELEform. Cardiff is moving forward to help clients comply with HIPAA mandates by leveraging Data Junction's support for bi-directional HIPAA transformations. Under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) health care entities are required to exchange information with a compliant transport standard.
Cardiff's complete Web/XML-based eForm management system, LiquidOffice, controls all form-driven processes by replacing paper forms with automated online eForms. Forms involving routing and approval or submission requirement are inspected by LiquidOffice, which extracts the intelligence and applies the stated business rules. Data Junction technology then either reads workflow rules to ERP systems or transfers data to other back office or database systems.
