Cardiff LiquidOffice™ Selected by the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Labor

Office of the Inspector General to update internal IT and HR form-driven processes with LiquidOffice's proven eForm technology

San Diego - 2002-07-24 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Labor, has selected the Cardiff LiquidOffice™ eForm management solution to automate its form-driven information technology (IT) and human resources (HR) processes. The LiquidOffice solution was selected following a formal review of several competitive offerings.

The Office of the Inspector General will use LiquidOffice to replace an antiquated system consisting of a combination of disparate technologies, including Corel WordPerfect® and Quattro® Pro. The new LiquidOffice solution will give the Office of the Inspector General the ability to easily publish interactive IT and HR forms online, providing its employees with around-the-clock access, even from remote locations. LiquidOffice also supports intelligent routing, tracking and secure digital approval, so entire processes can be managed online.

Additionally, LiquidOffice helps government organizations meet mandates dictated within the Government Paperwork Elimination Act, the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which all require eForm technology. LiquidOffice offers easy-to-use tools for designing, deploying and automatically managing the routing, tracking and review of forms and documents electronically.

"The Office of the Inspector General's selection of Cardiff LiquidOffice further validates the escalating demand for eForm management technology in the government sector," said Mark Seamans, chief technology officer with Cardiff. "By giving governmental agencies the ability to migrate their form-driven processes online, they are able to increase productivity, reduce overhead and lower costs, which ultimately extends the value of taxpayer money."

Benefits experienced by organizations migrating to Cardiff LiquidOffice include streamlining internal operational processes; accelerating delivery of data and documents to backend systems; reducing administrative costs; and eliminating data errors with business rules processing.
