Cardiff Releases TELEform™ v8.1; Leading Forms and Document Capture Solution Improves Recognition Capability
Features include an updated recognition system that maximizes productivity while reducing costs, German language support and an optional Connect Agent for FileNET Panagon™
San Diego - 2002-07-15 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Cardiff TELEform™ v8.1, a leading forms and document capture solution. This latest version features an updated, more powerful RecoFlex recognition system capable of processing data with greater accuracy and speed and includes German language support for commercial and government customers. TELEform v8.1 also offers an optional Connect Agent for seamless integration with Panagon™, FileNET's leading platform for enterprise content management.
To further optimize accuracy and speed, this latest release includes a valuable update to TELEform's RecoFlex recognition system. Through new integration with the KADMOS 3.5 handprint recognition engine, RecoFlex reduces both data errors and the amount of time spent in data verification. KADMOS is the highest rated German intelligent character recognition (ICR) engine available. These improvements enable organizations to gain significant increases in throughput and productivity without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency.

In addition, new German language support enables enterprises with German speaking offices and clients to reduce costs and streamline processes through TELEform's robust technology for capturing information from paper and digital documents. TELEform v8.1's Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been translated into German along with the online help, the Getting Started Guide, the TELEform Remote Capture Station Guide, the TELEform AutoMerge Publisher Guide and the User Guide. Furthermore, each order ships with a printed, dual language English/German Getting Started Guide.
TELEform v8.1 also features an optional certified Connect Agent to seamlessly integrate with FileNET Panagon Content and Image Services, a leading platform for enterprise content management. Availability
TELEform v8.1 is currently available in two versions: TELEform Elite, a single workstation system for mid-level forms processing applications, and TELEform Enterprise, a production-level, scalable, remote data and document capture and processing system. Both versions of TELEform v8.1 can be extended with the addition of the TELEform eForm Option for eForm capability and TELEform AutoMerge Publisher to provide automated document assembly and response. Existing v8.0 customers subscribing to a support and maintenance plan will automatically be shipped v8.1 updates by the end of July. The Connect Agent for FileNET Panagon is available immediately from Cardiff and its certified distributors.
