eFunds Adds Cardiff LiquidOffice™ to its eForm Management Solution for Process Management Services
Integrates LiquidOffice with Cardiff TELEform® and FileNET® eProcess solution, enabling banks, financial institutions and retailers to streamline back-office operations and reduce costs
San Diego - 2002-06-20 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that eFunds Corporation, an award-winning FileNET® ValueNET® and Cardiff TELEform® reseller, has added Cardiff's LiquidOffice™ eForm Management System v2.0 to its process management related products and services. LiquidOffice will provide eFunds' customers with powerful eForm automation capabilities integrated with their process management solutions.
LiquidOffice complements Cardiff's companion product, TELEform v8.0, which quickly and easily captures and converts paper-based and electronic forms into digital data. The data is then passed to LiquidOffice, which extends the process-automation lifecycle by automatically managing the routing, tracking and approval processes throughout the organization.
The Web-based, open architecture will allow eFunds to seamlessly integrate rules-based eForm processing with electronic payment, risk management and other business process improvement services. Cardiff's suite of process-automation solutions will enable eFunds' clients to move information from paper or electronic documents, into their backend systems more quickly and cost effectively.
"Cardiff's comprehensive suite of process-automation solutions for paper or electronic forms will create many opportunities for us. We can generate new workflows from incoming paper forms, as well as populate electronic versions of forms from their hard-copy counterparts," said Kannan Ramachandran, vice president BPO-IT of eFunds. "Cardiff's ability to cover the capture components and the workflow components is impressive. Their open standards and connect agents allow us to easily integrate these solutions with a large variety of existing customer applications."
Not only will eFunds offer implementation, training and documentation of LiquidOffice and TELEform, the company will also assist clients in customized integration with the FileNET eProcess module. If an institution requires customization for a specific process, the eFunds process management team is available to quickly implement the necessary enhancements.
A scalable eForm server that can be deployed on either a Windows or Solaris platform, LiquidOffice handles routing, tracking, digital signatures and business rules processing. By using industry standards like Java™ technology, XML, HTML, XForms and PDF, employees and customers can easily access, fill, route, track and digitally sign forms using a standard Internet browser.
"The selection of LiquidOffice by eFunds demonstrates that organizations prefer intelligent eForms delivered via standard Web browsers over thick-client products using a 'filler' download to facilitate form filling and signing," said Dennis Clerke, president and CEO of Cardiff. "Integration of Cardiff's information capture and eForm management products will deliver more efficient and cost-effective process-automation for eFunds' current and future customers in banking, financial institutions and retail."
