Cardiff TELEform® and IBM Content Manager Enable Dairy Farmers of America to Increase Efficiencies in Operations
Forms and document capture solution replaces manual data entry, improves accuracy and reduces labor costs; Cardiff's open standards enable integration of captured information with IBM Content Manager
San Diego - 2002-06-11 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leading global provider of business process-automation solutions, today announced that Cardiff TELEform information capture system has been implemented by Dairy Farmers of America to help the nation's largest dairy cooperative increase efficiencies in its milk pickup and delivery operations. At full production, the new forms and document capture system will speed data entry time for 90,000 forms a month, and eliminate the need for storing and retrieving paper documents.
Milk pickup/delivery tickets, which are completed by haulers at the local farms, are now captured instead of entered manually. Dairy Farmers of America can connect their centralized TELEform system with verification operators that can be located anywhere in the world and easily pass the captured digital information to the IBM Content Manager central repository.

TELEform is a high-volume, network-based solution that enables businesses to easily and accurately capture information and convert existing paper forms into digital data, virtually eliminating the need for manual entry. This integration provides an accurate, reliable solution for IBM customers that need to convert paper and electronic forms and documents into a usable digital format for Content Manager.
IBM customers use Content Manager to store, access and manage all of the digital information created by their company. The information that enters their content management system must be accurate, timely and usable. This information typically exists in a variety of types and formats throughout an organization. The on-ramp capture system used needs to support all of these formats.
