Dremedia CEO Addresses European Broadcast Union Summit
GENEVA, Switzerland - 29 January 2002
Matthew Karas, Founder and CEO of Dremedia, will today address the European Broadcast Union's (EBU) Towards IT-based Production for Television seminar at the EBU's headquarters in Geneva
Speaking about the latest techniques for automating broadcast content management, he will address an invited audience comprising leading national and international broadcasters including: BBC, DR-TV, CNN, MTV and RAI.
Drawing on experiences gained whilst at BBC, Sky and News Corporation, Matthew Karas will examine why IT has been largely unsuccessful in delivering tangible benefits to filmmakers, editors, engineers or producers and why.
He will also illustrate how the latest automation tools and techniques can address the core tasks of broadcast production, which remain largely unimproved by IT.
