Cardiff LiquidOffice eForm Management System v2.0 Gains "Best Enterprise Software" Recognition At COMDEX Fall 2001

XML-based system is a turnkey solution for eBusiness automation initiatives; Standards-based approach meets Section 508, GPEA and eGovernment eForm requirements

San Diego - 2001-11-19 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leader in XML-based eBusiness and eGovernment automation solutions, today announced that judges at the prestigious COMDEX® Fall 2001 have selected the recently announced LiquidOfficeTM eForm Management System v2.0 as a Best of COMDEX award finalist. Of the hundreds of products contending for Best of COMDEX awards, Cardiff LiquidOffice joined Cisco® Unity 3.0 and Novell® Zenworks™ for Desktop as one of the top three products in the "Best Enterprise Software" category.

LiquidOffice is an XML-based "paperless" system that allows organizations to publish, route, track, approve, sign, and process online forms and documents. Developed through an "eForm Alliance" with Adobe® Systems, LiquidOffice combines XML, HTML and Adobe portable document format (PDF) standards to migrate a wide range of manual business processes online. Using LiquidOffice, an organization can save between $30 and $150 per day on every form used by every employee. LiquidOffice also adds automated data collection, attachments and workflow capabilities to public- and citizen-facing HTML and Adobe PDF forms.

The new release of LiquidOffice v2.0 adds significant new capabilities to the award-winning eForm system. Highlights include eForm connectivity with mobile devices and remote applications through XML Virtual Submit™; support for workflow-enabled HTML eForms through a XML Publishing Agent™; implementation of "good enough" signing with Digital Approval; and seamless enterprise user management through integration with lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) systems.

"LiquidOffice v1.0 proved that intelligent eForms can be delivered without browser plug-ins, with industry experts providing us with a Best of Internet World award for our unique approach," said Dennis Clerke, president and CEO of Cardiff Software. "LiquidOffice v2.0 has shown that a single investment, using an XML and Web services architecture, can automate internal, Web and mobile eForms."
