Cardiff, Adobe® and Hewlett Packard Team to Deliver the 2001 eBusiness and eGovernment Automation Tour

Free seminars feature latest hardware/software solutions for eBusiness and eGovernment highlighting paperless office, digital signature and XML technologies

San Diego - 2001-08-15 - Cardiff Software announced today that they have joined with Adobe Systems and Hewlett-Packard to deliver the Fall 2001 eBusiness and eGovernment Automation Tour, a series of free informative seminars to be held throughout the U.S. eBusiness and eGovernment thought-leaders are encouraged to attend these events, which offer an opportunity to see demonstrations of Adobe Acrobat® 5.0, automated paper processing and XML-based "paperless office" solutions. More than 6,000 computer, government and business professionals have attended previous versions of this event.

Under the theme "Put Information to Work," the eBusiness Automation Tour will be delivered in an educational format, showing attendees how to leverage their Internet investments to achieve the following:

• Quick implementation of online eBusiness and eGovernment solutions

• Meet requirements for GPEA, HIPAA and Section 508

• Reduce the cost of paper forms by 90 percent or more

• Eliminate manual data entry with Scan/OCR solutions

• Save money through distributed scan and print solutions

• Use the Web to route, approve and process online forms

• Use digital and electronic signatures for online approval and processing

• Use Adobe ePaper Solutions to put paper processes online
