Autonomy Adds to OEM Portfolio by Signing International Content Management Provider Obtree

CAMBRIDGE, England, 4 July 2001 - Autonomy Corporation plc (Nasdaq: AUTN; Nasdaq Europe: AUTN; LSE: AU.), a leading provider of infrastructure software for the Web and the enterprise, today announced that it has extended its OEM operations by signing international content management provider, Obtree Technologies Inc..

Obtree will embed Autonomy's technology in its solutions to enable its product range to automatically manage and process large volumes of unstructured information, including Web pages, intranet content, office documents, e-mails etc. Obtree provides a range of award-winning solutions to manage the moving of digital content in real time, from any source to any destination. One of its most significant routes to market includes a recently released solution that combines Obtree's technology with IBM hardware in a bundling agreement.
