Cardiff Ships High-Performance Distributed Verification Module For TELEform® Enterprise v7.1
Leverages Citrix® MetaFrame™ to enable real-time verification and indexing using worldwide networks
San Diego - 2001-07-02 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leader in forms processing and eBusiness automation solutions, today announced the immediate availability of the Distributed Verification Module for TELEform® Enterprise v7.1. The new product, developed to work with Citrix® MetaFrameTM application serving software, enables real-time verification and document indexing over a distributed network environment with enhanced security, server-side data validations and batch management capabilities that are not found in Web-only approaches.
The Cardiff TELEform Information Capture System is the market-leading solution for automating the processing of paper forms and documents. TELEform uses optical character recognition (OCR) and advanced recognition capabilities to convert hand print, bar code and other printed data into online information, reducing data entry costs by up to 90 percent. TELEform also allows organizations to automatically confirm and validate incoming data through the use of business rules processing.

Prices, part numbers, employee, and customer information can be automatically compared with existing databases, with exceptions passed to the verification module for human review. For many organizations the cost savings derived from business rules-based data validation can double or triple the savings delivered by the TELEform system.
Many high-volume capture customers need to support remote workers, either because the organization is national or global, or because the organization takes advantage of worldwide labor markets. Where other remote verification products based upon basic Web technologies are unable to intelligently utilize business validations from a local server, Cardiff leverages the performance, security and data access with Citrix MetaFrame for the Distributed Verification Module.

Distributed verification is an important new capability for high-volume processing within large organizations and service bureaus.

The TELEform Distributed Verification Module is priced at $10,000 and enables TELEform Enterprise verifier modules to be used with Citrix MetaFrame.
