Cardiff Ships TELEform® 7.1 Information Capture System with New Windows® 2000 and Pervasive 2000i Certification
Cardiff also expands TELEform with support for distributed verification
San Diego and Brentford, Middlesex - 2001-07-02 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leader in XML-based eBusiness automation solutions, today announced the immediate availability of the TELEform v7.1 Information Capture System.
TELEform is used by more than 20,000 organizations, including American Express, BAX Global, GMAC, Northwestern University, and Kaiser Permanente, to replace manual data entry with the automated processing of paper forms and documents. TELEform can reduce the costs associated with manual data entry by up to 90 percent, and is an important component for database, document management and Web-based content management systems.
TELEform v7.1 includes the following new capabilities over the previous release:
• Cardiff Certified - Microsoft® Windows 2000
• Expanded OS Database support with Pervasive 2000i
• Adobe® Acrobat® 5.0 form filling support
• Enhanced scheduling for automatic purges and batch commits
• Enhanced batch handling flexibility
• Addition of "smart text" feature
• New batch discard BasicScript entry point
• Support for more than 65,000 traditional form IDs for a single system
• Support for 26-inch by 26-inch forms
• Revised and expanded documentation
In a related announcement, Cardiff introduced a new add-on product for TELEform - the Distributed Verification Module. This new product enables TELEform Enterprise v7.1 to be used within a Citrix MetaFrameTM environment, supporting remote, at-home and overseas verification operators without sacrificing features or performance.
Availability
TELEform v7.1 is available immediately from Cardiff and its network of Certified Resellers. Current customers who have Cardiff support and maintenance agreements will receive the update automatically. All versions of TELEform can be extended with the addition of the HTML+FormsTM, PDF+FormsTM, AutoMerge PublisherTM, and Cardiff's new Distributed Verification Module add-on products.
