San Diego - 2001-04-30 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leader in XML-based form processing and eBusiness automation solutions, today announced that the Cardiff LiquidFormsTM Designer Trial Edition (TE) is now shipping with English, Windows TM-based versions of Adobe® Acrobat® 5.0 software. LiquidForms Designer is a component of the LiquidForms eForm Management System, an XML-based system that delivers "paperless forms" to government, academic and business organizations.
"Adobe Acrobat 5.0 delivers powerful desktop features for document security, collaboration and forms," said David Rodrigues, senior product manager, ePaper Solutions Group, Adobe. "By adding form design, publishing, routing, approval, and data processing, LiquidForms provides an infrastructure to turn Adobe PDF forms into a complete enterprise solution."
The LiquidForms Designer TE is fully functional and operates for 90 days, and includes information on the complete LiquidForms eForm Management System. The commercial version of the LiquidForms Designer will be available at www.Cardiff.com/LiquidForms in June 2001, for $1,000 per copy. The complete Web-based LiquidForms eForm Management System will also be available in June with pricing starting at $15,000.
"The response to the LiquidForms Designer TE has been phenomenal," said Bill Galusha, Cardiff's LiquidForms product manager. "Users are impressed with its drag-and-drop gallery, which speeds up the form design process considerably."
In a related announcement, Cardiff has joined with Adobe in announcing the Spring 2001 eBusiness Automation Tour, a series of informative seminars to be held throughout the U.S. and Europe. The free events offer an opportunity to see demonstrations of Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and the LiquidForms eForm Management System. More than 4,000 computer, government and business professionals are expected to attend the worldwide seminar series.
