FutureVision Technologies Expands its Business Operations with Cardiff MediClaim
The Utah-based Company Offerings to Include ASP Medical Claims Processing Opportunities and Worldwide Verification Capabilities
San Diego - 2001-04-23 - Cardiff Software Inc., a leader in forms processing and eBusiness automation solutions, today announced that FutureVision Technologies, a service bureau specializing in document and information management solutions, has expanded its business operations to include Application Service Provider (ASP) services and worldwide verification capabilities through Cardiff MediClaimTM, a claim forms processing application.
"This is a brand new prospect for the company," said Devin Cox, FutureVision's vice president of marketing. "Cardiff MediClaim has allowed us to perfect our services in the medical claims area. We've been able to lower the service cost for our clients while steadily expanding our business growth and strategy."
FutureVision's ASP option, complete with distributed verification capabilities, was made possible by Cardiff Software's recent integration of its MediClaim application with Citrix MetaFrame™, a third-party application server software.
"The model enables our administrators to increase claims input by 400 percent to 30,000 forms per day," said Cox. "FutureVision's ASP model can serve companies too small to take advantage of our service bureau, as well as clients with a larger volume of claims that do not want to outsource, yet need to leverage the service's cost effectiveness."
The distributed verification capabilities available through MediClaim help FutureVision virtually eliminate its former barrier to growth - hiring qualified personnel. The company now has the capability to use secure Internet connections to distribute work and receive data worldwide. Cox anticipates that by Q2 of 2002, FutureVision will be processing more than 100,000 claims per day, not including its ASP services.
In a related announcement, Cardiff Software has joined with Adobe Systems in announcing the Spring 2001 eBusiness Automation Tour, a series of informative seminars to be held throughout North America and Europe. The free events offer an opportunity to see demonstrations of Adobe® Acrobat® 5.0, automated paper processing and XML-based "paperless office" solutions.
