Westminster Digital Uses Virage Technology to Improve Access and Distribution of Parliamentary Video Footage

The site, which went live on March 7th with coverage of the Chancellor's budget speech, utilizes the Virage SmartEncode™ process along with application hosting and syndication services. The new web-based system provides customers with an accurate video search engine and a sophisticated video distribution management system.
By using Virage technology, Westminster Digital can provide an online, searchable video database of parliamentary proceedings for anyone with an interest in current affairs and British politics.
