Thirteen Industry Experts Join Imaging & Document Solutions in Naming Cardiff AutoMerge Publisher and AudienceOne

Cardiff extends leadership in Information Capture and eForms markets; Recognized for innovative products that solve real business problems

San Diego - 2001-01-04 - Cardiff Software, Inc., a leading supplier of eTransaction and business automation solutions, today announced that two of its products, AutoMerge Publisher™ and AudienceOne™ Personalization Server, have jointly been awarded the prestigious "Products of the Year" award by Imaging & Document Solutions magazine.

AutoMerge Publisher was recognized for extending Cardiff's market-leading TELEform® Information Capture platform with automated form merge and publishing capabilities. Using AutoMerge Publisher with TELEform, users can create and pre-populate forms from database information and publish them in volume via Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files, e-mail, fax or print. AutoMerge Publisher is ideal for implementing surveys, questionnaires and data collection applications across the Internet or using traditional fax/paper approaches. Online demonstrations of AutoMerge Publisher are available at www.Cardiff.com/AMP.

Sharing the "Products of the Year" honor with AutoMerge Publisher is the AudienceOne™ Personalization Server. AudienceOne employs assembly rules to automate the creation and delivery of personalized document sets via the Web, e-mail, fax and print-on-demand. Using XML-based instructions, Java, Visual Basic or C++, organizations can extend Web and server applications to automate the creation of business proposals, marketing collaterals, contracts and other variable-document applications. Online demonstrations of AudienceOne are available at www.Cardiff.com/A1.

"While the final selection rested with the editors of Imaging & Document Solutions, the opinions of industry experts and end users were a valuable resource in selecting Cardiff Software for this award," said Doug Henschen, editor-in-chief of Imaging & Document Solutions.

Robert J. Weideman, vice president of marketing for Cardiff, said, "Cardiff was first to offer an integrated paper and eForm capture solution and first to deliver support for XML. We are honored to receive the coveted ëProducts of the Year' award for our latest innovation, which uses incoming information to automate the creation of next step forms, certificates and documents."

Each year Imaging & Document Solutions looks at the latest products that have broken new ground and are pointing the way to the future. After testing these products in their lab, the editors seek additional input from industry analysts and consultants. This year the following commentators joined the Imaging & Document Solutions editors on the selection of Cardiff products for "Products of the Year" honors:
