Cardiff Wins Information Management Award 2000

Cardiff's Personalisation Server Named ëBest Personal Information Product'

Brentford, Middlesex - 2000-11-27 - Cardiff Ltd., market leader of Information Capture, eTransaction and eReply solutions won this year's ëBest Personal Information Product' at the Information Management (IM) Award ceremony, held at the Common Wealth Institute in Kensington, London.

The Information Management Awards, now in its fifth year, is the premier industry recognition of excellence and innovation in the management of business information. Judged by an independent panel of representatives from the IT industry, press, analysts, academics and user associations, the award is for real-world end user applications that yield demonstrable business benefits and reflect best practice.

Cardiff Software's AudienceOne Personalisation Server was honoured with the ëBest New Personal Information Product' award. This award recognises the most exciting new personalisation solution launched in 2000.

The AudienceOne Personalisation Server allows organisations to use existing content to deliver personalised marketing collateral, reports and documents. AudienceOne dynamically merges existing electronic documents with variable text and graphics, from business transactions, databases or XML data sources, to create high-fidelity personalised response documents. The system personalises on two levels: creating documents that contain specific pages of information that are requested by the user and adding variable text and graphics to existing documents, delivering a single document, complete with page numbers and a table of contents. This enables customer self-selection and automates the collection of incoming data.

Tangible business benefits are evident to users of the product including:

• Lower costs for printing and distribution

• Reduced per customer service request costs

• Faster response rate to customers

• Provide an individual service to each customer

Tim Dubes, Vice President of European Marketing, Cardiff Software comments: "We are delighted to be honoured with this award. It is particularly gratifying to have our customer's successful deployment as the reason for this accolade."
