Cardiff Offers First Look at AutoMerge Publisher at COMDEX FALL 2000

Las Vegas, NV - 2000-11-13 - Cardiff Software, Inc., provider of the world's leading forms processing software, will demonstrate for the first time at COMDEX, in Booth #L1851, the recently announced AutoMerge Publisher™ v1.0. AutoMerge Publisher enables users to build personalized, automated pre-filled forms and response documents published to PDF, email, fax or print utilizing variable text and graphics merged from data sources such as XML, ODBC databases or digital forms.

Cardiff has extended the eBusiness cycle beyond information capture to automated pre-filled forms and response documents. With AutoMerge Publisher customers can now utilize database and incoming information automatically to improve responsiveness and overall customer satisfaction.

"Users worldwide benefit from a complete closed loop interaction using Cardiff products," said Cindy Elliott, director, Corporate Communications with Cardiff. "Cardiff is the first vendor to offer an end-to-end solution for organizations to capture, process and reply automatically. Cardiff enables customers to immediately transition their business processes from paper-based solutions to digital solutions, while continuing to support paper as long as necessary."

On display, also for the first time at Comdex, will be Cardiff's new TELEform™ v7, the design component of AutoMerge Publisher. TELEform, traditionally supporting a pure paper-based capture solution, now also provides the backbone for Cardiff's PDF+Forms and HTML+Forms digital forms modules.

TELEform

The Cardiff TELEform family of information capture products is used to improve data access and replace manual data entry with the automated processing of forms and documents. TELEform converts paper and online forms into digital information automatically, exporting data and images to critical ODBC database and image archive workflow applications; including XML data, SQL, Oracle, FileNET Panagon, and Open Text, among others.

AutoMerge Publisher

AutoMerge Publisher adds automated form merge to the TELEform application so organizations can deliver pre-filled personalized forms using print, fax, email and Adobe PDF. AutoMerge Publisher merges existing data from database applications, or new data from collected paper and eForms onto form templates created in the Form Designer. AutoMerge Publisher can add variable data, text, barcodes and graphics to single and multi-page form templates. Applications include the distribution of surveys, employee forms, confirmations, certificates and patient encounter forms.
