Cardiff Announces AudienceOne Personalization Server v2.0

AudienceOne closes the loop for complete online transactions, using data to assemble and deliver custom PDF documents over the Web, eMail, Fax & Print

Las Vegas, NV - 2000-11-13 - Cardiff Software, Inc. announced today a major upgrade to its award-winning dynamic document assembly software, AudienceOne® Personalization Server™. The AudienceOne Personalization Server upgrade offers a powerful new way to automate business document processes by using XML document assembly and variable publishing rules to create custom online documents from an existing PDF document library. Specific upgrades from the v1.x versions to v2 include: a simpler user interface and installation, support for XML, and Windows 2000 compatibility.

AudienceOne is ideal for automating the creation and delivery of a wide range of digital documents, including business documents, loan kits, sales proposals, contracts and marketing items. With AudienceOne, companies can use their database and Web applications to create and deliver business documents - instantly.

eGov and Digital Business Documents

Government Agencies and Global 2000 organizations count on Adobe PDF as their digital document standard. The AudienceOne Personalization Server uses Adobe PDF to create online documents that are ëfillable and signable', and includes native support for building eForm pages and including digital signature fields. Additionally, the Personalization Server creates a unique table of contents per custom document with hyperlinks to relevant pages. Specific applications include, event confirmations and follow-up documents, self-service collateral, co-branding for channel partners, and sales collateral fulfillment with sales force automation solutions.

AudienceOne can be connected directly to standard HTML eForms on your Web site, adding automated document response and delivery to "Information Please", White Paper, and Technical Support Applications. AudienceOne supports delivery via Web, email, Fax or Print on Demand. Users can also configure variable data in the header or body of the text that will be sent along with the PDF document when using email for delivery.

AudienceOne Personalization SDK

The AudienceOne Personalization SDK is everything you need to integrate AudienceOne with database, document management and custom Internet applications. The SDK supports Java, Visual Basic™, Visual C++™ and other programming languages.

XDML -- eXtensible Documents

AudienceOne supports XDML (eXtensible Document Markup Language) as its Job Ticket language. This allows organizations to drive AudienceOne projects from wireless devices, content management systems and custom applications.

Key Benefits

• Integrate with existing backend systems using an XML job ticket format called XDML

• Publish to PDF and immediately recognize the reduction in costs associated with offset printing assembly and delivery.

• Automate the process so customers receive immediate, relevant and quality materials improving their interaction with the company.

• Import graphics in their native format without converting first to PDF, reducing overall document size. Supported formats include: PCD, TIFF, JPG, WMF, BMP and PNG. Barcode support is native in the software, for users to specific barcodes as variable data.

• Offer complete online transactions using the infrastructure already in place.

• Centralize document creation and management consequently offering immediate access to updated information, eliminating obsolete and inaccurate documents.

Pricing and Availability

The AudienceOne Personalization Server v2 will begin shipping on December 4, 2000 with pricing starting at $45,000. Cardiff offers consulting services to build specific applications.
