Cardiff Software Announces Record Adoption of TELEform v7.0, AutoMerge Publisher and eForms Products in 3Q 2000

Strong reseller demand for new products drive rapid adoption of new product releases; BAX Global joins Global 2000 customers implementing eTransactions with Cardiff

San Diego - 2000-11-08 - Cardiff Software announced today that customer acceptance of new releases of its eTransaction products has exceeded expectations, resulting in record results for the company's third quarter of FY2000. Cardiff experienced record sales of its eForms products, as well as recent releases of TELEform® and AutoMerge Publisher™.

In less than 30 days of shipping TELEform v7, the latest release of the market-leading Information Capture product, Cardiff has exceeded its previous units shipped record by more than 100 percent. TELEform v7 delivers native support for XML, enhanced performance, and a new version of the award-winning TELEform Designer.

Cardiff's new product AutoMerge Publisher, is exceeding first month sales estimates to new customers by over 75 percent. AutoMerge Publisher automates the creation of personalized pre-filled forms, for delivery using email, Adobe PDF, fax or print. Users can deliver and collect surveys using email, the creation of pre-filled employee forms, and even the delivery of personalized membership cards and coupons.

"We are pleased to report third quarter results have exceeded our FY2000 plan, resulting in the highest revenue quarter in the company's history," said Dennis Clerke, founder, president and CEO of Cardiff Software, Inc. "We experienced exceptional growth in all product areas, driven through strong customer demand through our reseller channels."

In related announcements, BAX Global announced it has selected Cardiff products to put manual transaction processes online. Cardiff TELEform will automate the collection and processing of shipping data resulting in improved responsiveness to customer inquiries.

"The fact that we were selecting a global standard that would be responsible for data that is core to our company, we implemented a very robust selection process," said Mark Fisher, Manager of Imaging Operations for BAX Global. "The eBusiness features, capabilities and support that Cardiff offered were the smart solution to our shipping and customer service objectives."
