Cardiff Ships TELEform V7: First Integrated Solution for Automated Information Capture, Processing, and Reply
BAX Global, Weight Watchers and other Global 2000 Companies Choose Cardiff to Automate Business Forms and Documents
San Diego - 2000-09-25 - Cardiff Software, Inc. announced today the immediate availability of TELEform v7, a major upgrade to the world's most popular information capture and processing application. Currently used by more than 20,000 organizations worldwide, including BAX Global, GMAC, American Express, and Weight Watchers, TELEform automates the processing of forms and documents into database and Web-based content management systems.
TELEform v7 includes a new version of the point-and-click Form Designer, support for color scanners, native XML input and output, as well as support for processing signatures from paper and online forms.
TELEform is the only information capture product to offer production-level processing of both paper forms and documents, with extended support for processing online eForms using the HTML+Forms and PDF+Forms add-on products. With TELEform v7, Cardiff enters significant new market areas with AutoMerge Publisher, a new TELEform add-on product that implements personalized form merge and personalized eReply applications using print, fax, email and Adobe PDF formats.
"The TELEform platform has allowed us to standardize on a single information processing pipeline regardless of the paper form source," said Amy Zavier, vice president and CFO of the WW Group, the largest franchise of Weight Watchers International. "TELEform's ability to integrate simply with an Oracle database allows faster access to information, which enables us to offer improved customer service by responding more rapidly with relevant information to meet individual needs. In addition, the TELEform solution was in full production ahead of schedule and reduced information capture costs by 90% while insuring data accuracy."
Rapid Implementation
TELEform is highly regarded for its ease of use and implementation. The latest release delivers new capabilities that allow organizations to implement their projects on time and on budget. New features that add value to TELEform v7 include:
• A new version of Form Designer, a point-and-click application that speeds the implementation of Information Capture applications by 75% when compared to products that are manually configured.
• Improved installation speeds the installation and upgrade process
• Searchable online documentation includes searchable Adobe PDF
• New Scan Station Module -an easy-to-use scanning interface that reduces training requirements.
• Dynamic Barcode Indexing - identifies batches through barcodes, eliminating the need for a physical separator sheet and speeding document processing.
• System security - enables TELEform administrators to control access to projects, modules, logs and more.
• Automatic network image compression - reduces bandwidth requirements and improves performance within network configurations.
• Database utilities - new administrative tools that offer point-and-click optimization of the TELEform pipeline.
• Connect agent for XML - easy input and export of XML data.
• Enhanced Control Center - a native snap-in for Microsoft Management Console, enables effective Administration of TELEform, supporting load-balancing, alert monitoring and watches for system bottlenecks.
Anthony Stagnaro, Cardiff Product Manager for TELEform, said, "TELEform v7 offers the most robust and user-friendly information capture product in Cardiff's history. By adding modules such as PDF+Forms, HTML+Forms and/or the AutoMerge Publisher, the TELEform product family provides the industry's only end to end solution for automated information capture, process and reply."
