Virage Named to the Internet Analyst Convergence Stocks Index
Virage Joins AT& T, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony as One of 25 Companies Representing the Convergence Between Computers, Media, the Internet and Telecommunications

Virage is one of only 25 companies in the Index. Virage was one of four stocks recently added to the index; the other three were Sony (NYSE:SNE), Handspring (NASDAQ: HAND), and ACTV Inc. (NASDAQ: IATV).
Companies included in the Convergence Index are taking advantage of the evolving interconnections between: computers (hardware, software, networking); telecommunications (landline/wireless telephony, broadcasting, communications equipment/infrastructure); the Internet; and media (enabling/delivering content, information or data). The companies must have a presence in all four areas.
