Forbes.com Inc. Selects Verity, Inc. To Strengthen Forbesfinder Search Engine

New York, NY and Sunnyvale, CA - 2000-07-24 - Forbes.com, a leading Internet media company, today announced that they have selected Verity (Nasdaq: VRTY), a leading provider of infrastructure software that powers enterprise and e-commerce portals as well as e-business applications, to provide the K2 high performance portal infrastructure to support the millions of ForbesFinder users. Verity K2 Toolkit has been chosen to deliver precise and accurate search functionality to help readers find the news and investment information they want, quickly and easily.

As part of Forbes.com's ongoing development of the ForbesFinder search engine, the Company will use the Verity K2 Toolkit software to rapidly and efficiently create unique and enhanced research services on ForbesFinder.
