WorldNow Selects Virage to Bring Internet Video to Broadcast Television Web Sites

WorldNow Will Use Virage's Internet Video Infrastructure to Enhance Its Web Solutions for Local Broadcasters

STREAMING MEDIA EAST CONFERENCE, NEW YORK—June 12, 2000 —Virage, Inc., a leading provider of products and application services that enable video for the Internet, today announced that WorldNow, a leading provider of Internet technology services for local broadcasters, and the largest independent network of local broadcaster web sites, is using Virage software and application services to integrate on-demand video into its complete web site solution for local broadcast television stations.
